I don't care what anyone says- I ship Logan and Sam until the end.

So I do love this series and there are definitely parts to this book I love, but there is a lot here that also frustrates me. I'm not keen on miscommunication or noncommunication as the big issue and it felt like if they had all just TALKED a lot of problems could have been avoided, but of course I do love the angst and turmoil that them not having it all straightened out provides. I'm a sucker for other woman drama, and you get that here in spades with Marissa and her manipulations. It's been interesting watching Sam change over the course of the series - from someone who always speaks straight and tells it like it is - to now keeping a lot of things to herself because of everything she has been through. Despite my frustrations, this is still a great read and is a reread for me.

Mason Kade has left for university, and Logan is left to look out for Sam. But after what Tate told her, Sam wants to keep Logan away in an effort to protect everyone.

Trying to keep her relationship alive despite Mason being so far apart, Sam doesn't know what to do. Meanwhile Mason is met with a girl from his past, adding fuel to the fire as he fights for his relationship to stay alive.

Is this finally it for Mason and Sam? Will the secrets wedge them apart or will their love triumph over distance and gossip?

UGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

So disappointed with this one! There was such a good route to have tried to go down and it was just abandoned and instead filled with boring story filler.

I can't really break this review up into specific parts like I normally do. I kind of expected more drama between Logan/Sam/Mason but instead it was sort of weakly executed. I didn't want any cheating but everyone can tell Logan loves Sam in some manner.

After Sam had regained her fight in the third book, she certainly lost it again in this one. She was way too co-dependent on Mason and acted like she couldn't function with him gone and then obsessed over the Logan drama. Get some bloody self-control and own yourself! She just seemed like a pathetic needy teenager rather than a woman in a loving relationship. Although the distance was there, they knew they'd be seeing each other so just get out of your slump and deal with it.

It all just got too annoying by this stage.

Even the Kade brothers seemed to show a more sensitive weak side as if they weren't those same brothers as in the first book! There was a lot less tough guy and a lot more emotional dealings and I'm not sure if that worked or not. There just seemed to be a lot more of me wanting to through my kindle across the room during this than I have previously...

Overall:

This had the same feel as the second book - merely a story filler. I was really expecting a LOT more but still did enjoy the story nonetheless. That cliffhanger though!! I will definitely be finishing this series though regardless of feelings about this one.

As usual, a beautiful 5 star read from Tijan. Although, we all know that we shouldn't expect anything different. But man, you leave us hanging Tijan.....can't wait for the finale!!

This book was a slight disappointment. It was kind of the same old/same old with the same old characters. The whole love triangle got interesting, until well it was shown it wasn't a love triangle, by anyone. It was just weird. I'm looking forward to the final installment, but for now it's just weird.

I’d give it about a 3.5/5. The book was good, but not my favorite in the series so far. I feel the book dragged on the “Logan is in love with Sam.” I really hope Kris & Logan work things out. He deserves a GOOD GIRLFRIEND!!!
ALSO HE WAS RIGHT ABOUT MARISSA!?!?! I knew she probably had feelings for Mason because what girl wouldn’t????? THE IT boy of your high school befriending you when you feel like an outcast. Even though she turned out to be a little obsessive and crazy, she didn’t deserve to get run over by a truck. I really look forward to seeing what the Foursome Fearsome’s revenge plan is.

I cannot get enough of the Kade’s! I love any and all that is written from Mason’s POV. Sam’s world is rocked by six little words and I totally get why she keeps it a secret, but no secret ever stays a secret for long.

Ok this book was amazing and! holy balls that cliff hanger. guess i have another book to wait for.

Mason has gone to Collage, Tate has told a secret that Logan is in love with Sam, and Sam is freaking out over losing her family because Logan 'Loves' her. this is pretty much the whole book, of course there are plenty of plot twists that will keep you going and if you've gone this far in the series I doubt that you'll stop here. This book was also told from Masons POV half of the time since he is in uni and whatnot and he has just as much drama as Sam and Logan in Fallen Crest. Overall this book was great and i loved it, the only problem i think i have is that too many guys 'want' Sam, i mean there Mason, 'Logan', Adam, Jeff and a new guy too? like there is realistic and then theres too much. and this is on the verge of too much.

Besides that I loved it, i even liked the long distant relationship and the new friends that you meet. its really good and i love her books, which is why I'm gonna have to wait, not-so-patiently for the next and final? book in the series
