Read to be by Alexa 
🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 - for frequency, descriptiveness, kink and dark content 

This book was deliciously dark if not corny at times. It’s reads a bit as a soap opera at some points but I enjoyed it enough to overlook that. If you don’t read dark romance, this will be a lot for you. If you a regular reader of dark romance than i would say it’s typical dark captive romance. Very similar to ward by Zoe Blake or some dark omegaverse novels. 
The main focus is the developing  relationship between our two main characters with hints at a hidden agenda that we don’t get a good grasp on until later in the book. 

Book 2 is a whole different ball game though.
