I guess this book finished the trilogy off, but I can’t say it did much more.

I didn’t like the random switch to first person POV, and I missed the cat-and-mouse dynamic of the first two books. Villanelle (or Oxana I guess?) also seemed very different in her behaviour and I don’t think I loved it.

But, it was fairly exciting towards the end and although it was a bit clunky, the non-binary rep was good.

I think I prefer the show.

I have no pull quote; I did not enjoy this book. I love the television show-- though I am nervous for the third season-- and read the book series out of that appreciation. However, the book series just gets more stale as you read along, and in this final volume, it feels so predictable and unconnected. I am very sad about this, but am a little encouraged that sometimes the tv/movie could be better than the book! If you like spy things, watch the series Killing Eve and just skip the books!
