4.25 stars- **contains spoilers**
Audiobook narrators do a great job.

Strong contender for 4.5+ starts until the end. Fast paced and entertaining as a whole. I felt the ending left a lot of loose threads undone and it was just over. I didn't fully connect with any of the characters, feeling they were a bit more simplified than they could be- Audrey is a crummy friend. Kat is meek essentially until the very end when she decides to smother her BFF (What? Where did that come from? Other than her thinking of how much Audrey annoyed her, this came out of nowhere- other than she pushed a girl at camp years ago.) Nick doesn't seem to have any redeeming qualities other than he loves Audrey. However, this made for a great summer listen; I couldn't wait to find out who was stalking Audrey! Definitely worth the time reading/listening.

This passed the second book test- I'm definitely a fan of Kathleen Barber! Can't wait to see what else she does.

Follow Me is a psychological thriller full of twists and turns and kept me captivated until the end. I loved that the storyline was based around social media and the idea that nothing is ever as shiny or perfect as it may appear online.

This page-turner is shared in alternating chapters between the main character Audrey, her best friend Cat and a third narrator who is only known by the reader as "him." I thought this was such a clever way to have the story unfold and I loved that it kept me guessing.

Audrey isn't very likable and I think that is the author's point. She may have over 2 million followers online, but she lives for the posts and likes while her "real life" is quite dull and lonely. Her best friend Cat is the complete opposite and I enjoyed the polarization between these two characters that ended up adding a lot of dimension to this storyline.

Follow Me was creepy but light enough for a weekend or beach read which was exactly what I was looking for.

Thank you to NetGalley and Gallery Books for an advanced copy.

This sounded like [b:You|36430011|You (You, #1)|Caroline Kepnes|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1549463282l/36430011._SY75_.jpg|39913517] 2.0 and I was honestly 100% here for it.
The start was okay and interesting but then...

Audrey Miller is an Instagram sensation. Every day her million followers click onto her feed to see her latest post.  But when she moves from New York  to Washington D.C. to take on her dream job at the Smithsonian, she suddenly and unknowingly falls right into the hands of someone very dangerous.  He has been tracking Audrey's every post since she first started out, and now he's no longer content to follow from a distance.  Audrey's growing sense of unease slowly morphs into fear as she realizes she's not just being paranoid- someone really is stalking her, watching her, making one move and then another. When will the next threat come?  What will he do next?  One thing is certain:  to make her his, he will follow her to the ends of this earth...and nothing is out of bounds.⁣

Thank you Netgalley for this ARC!  As an Instagrammer myself, I read this book with a little trepidation (eek!) and a lot of wicked delight. Told in multiple perspectives, it often felt like a cat and mouse game, which worked splendidly with this storyline. I did feel it was a bit predictable and that the ending was a little too "Lifetime movie dramatic", but all in all this was a fun ⭐⭐⭐

This was my first read from Kathleen Barber and I really enjoyed it. Though life inevitably gets in the way at times, I really didn't want to put this book down. Oddly enough, I hated the main character but that really didn't take away from my enjoyment of the story. Maybe hate is too strong of a word but she definitely was not my favorite.

Audrey Miller is obsessed with Social Media. She's an instagrammer with over a million followers watching her almost every move, as she posts frequently throughout her day. Though since her move from New York to Washington D.C. someone seems to be watching her a bit too closely....

Throughout the story we are presented with several possibilities as to WHO could be Audrey's stalker. If you really pay attention, it's not a shocker at all when it's revealed so if you are reading this for a huge twist at the end, it may be a bit disappointing. Aside from the lack of shock value, the events themselves unfolded very well and in a believable manner. It's creepy without being too over the top. It just might make you rethink everything you share about yourself on social media by the end. ;)

This book had me hooked from the very first chapter. There are so many possible suspects, just when you think you know who the stalker is something leads to to think otherwise.
Until the very last chapter you are left in suspense and then BHAM! You are blindsided.
This is a great read. Most definitely recommend reading this.

This book is being marketed as another You, and for me it fell flat. The first half of the book was very slow for me. This is most likely due to the fact the main character Audrey is such a narcissist. She wants to share everything and in such a way that makes it seem more glamorous. She was annoying at best.

Cat, her supposed best friend was the complete opposite of her. She was shy, awkward, but she was a really hard worker, sometimes too much. She was week though, letting Audrey drag her everywhere to "make her life more exciting" and be more adventurous. She also had a crush on a guy for 8 years!! Girl get a clue.

There was so many instances that she should have called the police and didn't which made this so unbelievable. The story regarding the "RAT" software that can hack into your computer and see what you are doing and the message boards should really have played a bigger part in this book. It was more interesting and super creepy.

Overall this book dragged for me and I kept finding myself wandering off to other things, as it wasn't keeping my interest. Maybe because I am not one to overshare on social media. The ending was interesting, but couldn't save it.
