Not a perfect book by any means, but I sure loved it like it was. Could not put it down.

I am so glad I pick up this book. This story is full of struggle and heartache. A real picture of what true life can be. It doesn't beat around the bush about how women are treated in a man's world, or how some people can fall off their rockers.

I loved how the writer told the story. Her writing style is smooth and so easy to read. The characters were really colorful, a wonderful cast. The feelings this book gives is amazing.

A wonderful read for anyone.

Received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review.

I didn't think I would like this book when I started it - it read like a typical romance novel. It IS a romance novel, but the story really hooked me and I ended up loving it. The characters are interesting and the book has a lot to say about loving people and forgiving them for not being perfect. It is well worth the time.

3.5 STARS.
This was my first Center novel, and probably my last. Not because she's not a good writer, but the story itself was told rather simplistically. There's not too much creativity and it's your basic summer read.

I expected more fire fighter scenes, but instead it turned into a love story and was really a book about forgiveness.
Though it ends with a very powerful message, the book itself was a simplistic portrait of a female firefighter battling her own demons.

Sweet little romantic love story

Great diversion and quick read. Pretty predictable love story-tough girl with broken past meets guy and tries not to fall in love. Lessons of forgiving others and yourself sprinkled throughout the story.

#thingsyousavebook was an amazing novel. I loved it almost as much as How to Walk Away. Katherine Center has a way of drawing the reader in with relatable characters, relatable plot, and a wonderful message of learning to forgive those who have wronged you. Loved how Cassie overcame some underlying anger to forgive those individuals in her life that had wronged her while finding love along the way through her involvement with Owen McKee, both on and off the job. Loved how she overcame the odds and forgave herself and everyone, except for Heath Thompson, who was an awful human being. Overall, great characters, plot, and excellent message about the power of forgiveness. #thingsyousavebook #tysiaf #katherinecenter

Read it cover to cover in one sitting! Well written and researched, made me laugh loudly at several points. The main characters are so cute I squealed.

Katherine Center writes easy reading rom-com style books. I appreciated the brief nod to the main character in How to Walk Away.
