my first eve babitz book and what a fun and interesting read, personally love her style of writing, will edit later with my fav quote if i can find one (or more, who knows)

also since the bisexual dude is the longest lasting love interest here, this confirms my theory that i need to find a bi man to date bc straight guys just don't get it

It might be my own fault I didn’t really like this book. I went into with such high expectations but just came out of with the idea that LA in the 70s must have been annoying as hell . I want to give it a 2.5-2.75 but the writing wasn’t terrible so it’s staying at a low 3.
