Like the first four volumes, the illustrations in Lore Olympus: Volume Five are beautifully done and keep you engrossed. However, sadly, the story is just too jumpy in places, which can be distracting!

Nonetheless, I look forward to seeing where Persephone's story leads us in Lore Olympus: Volume Six.

Most magically wonderful book 10/10 would recommend. The story follows Persephone (goddess of Spring) and Hades, as they try to fall in love with some interferance from Minthe- the bitch and Appolo (the dick)

The narrative diverges a lot bit from the bigger picture, but this edition helps us go deeper into the plans of the side characters come into fruition, and to see how the relationship between Hades and Persephone is continuing to deepen.

This one has Hades and Persephone’s first kiss! 

(FIVE VOLUMES IN)

(THE BURN IS SO SLOW)

The plot thickens. I love this series. This is where I was able to binge read to when I first started reading this comic, and then I started having to pay for issues because I became obsessed. I remember losing interest somewhere around the next issue! So I’m about to be in uncharted territory. 

Can’t wait to see what happens next.
