#FiveSurvive:

Thank you @delacorte and @prhaudio for the gifted copies [partner].

Y’all know in hot tub time machine when all these wild things happen to Crispin Glover’s character, and we keep waiting for the accident that took his arm? That’s how I felt the entire time reading Five Survive. First, I kept thinking only one would survive, but then I remembered what the title was called

this book was way too long for what the story was - Holly Jackson is an incredible writer but the beginning of this book was a pain to get through. the characters are also very unlikeable. the last 1/3 of the book redeemed it for me - it was so much more fast-paced and the twists and turns were fun to discover.
Spoilerarthur, how could he!!! catherine was obvious - that win-win plan was crazy. oliver, fuck you.

It was a truly compelling story which made you feel the intensity of the situation. Although Red the main character was annoying at times.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. Kept me guessing but in a good way. Enjoyed the less than fulfilling ending as not everything ends happy, tied up in a bow.

Such a fun read, but I still liked GGGTM better. The plot felt a little far fetched to me, but I still really enjoyed this
