Amazing book! I always enjoy reading it, both when I was a child and now as an adult. 

The only issue I have is that I noticed that all of the animals are male! She has addressed this and regrets it but it still is a little jarring to read.

A modern classic for obvious reasons, but I'm always a little irked by kids books that gender all the animals male.

I have to give this book 5 stars or else my two year old will never forgive me. This is the house favorite of my daughters books.
