This was a decent read. I think my main issues were that I didn't find the plot engaging and wasn't interested in any of the characters. It was very easy to read and the plot wasn't necessarily boring, it was fine, the whole thing just wasn't compelling enough for me. The private school setting was very interesting, however, and it was why I picked this one up in the first place. I didn't hate this and I would probably read more from this author, but this particular story didn't stick with me.

okay this was really good? this was my first Samantha Downing and it's really making me want to read My Lovely Wife in hopes of getting more of this type of writing style.

this is a book I would have trouble telling you about, because it starts off really slow. by the time we're really in it, so many plot points have opened up and so many more start to open up that I wouldn't be able to tell you much. that being said everything does wrap up in the end, so no worries about that.

my only complaint was that it was just a bit too long and dragged in the middle. it's why this is getting a 4.5 instead of a 5, but it didn't hinder my enjoyment really at all.

I definitely feel like you're going to love it or hate it, and I'm happy to say I'm on the love it side. I'd recommend for fans of You with Joe's psychopathic inner monologue and sense of justice.

So basically everyone’s a psycho?

I would’ve enjoyed it more if the police/FBI investigation hadn’t been so frustratingly bad. You’re telling me that the FBI is going to believe anyone’s word without investigating in a rich school full of wealthy students? Not likely. But overall it was still an interesting book.

Loved this book!! You know who the villain is from the first chapter but watching others try to figure it out was the best part of the book. I loved the writing style and the characters.
