I got the complete series and am so glad that I did!  This series is amazing!  Total page turner.  I could not put it down and when I was forced to go to bed and stop reading, I couldn’t wait to pick it up again.  Filled with intense drama and adventure.  Fated and bonded mates, Angels, shifter wolves, vampires and supernatural abilities.  This series has everything you could want in a story.  You won’t be disappointed.  The characters are well developed and the plot has its twists and turns.  One great thing about this complete series is that you wont be left on a cliff hanger because you have the next book already there!  Go grab this book now!!

I love the Shadow City books and have been patiently waiting for Killian’s story! Lots of action, some questions are answered and some spicy times. I can’t wait for book two!

"You are the rainbow after the storm"...............This little sentence just made me melt.

We finally get to meet Jewel (Mila's daughter, Sterlyn & Cyrus' cousin), when she comes back from a party she finds her Grandfather's entire pack missing along with her mother who was visiting. She sees on tv the video of Killian coming out to the world and telling them that paranormals exist. When Jewel meets up with Sterlyn and the rest of the gang, she is sooo angry and blames Killian for her missing family members, and with that encounter, they come to realise that they are Fated Mates.

Jewel is such a blend of her parents and we can see how Mila's actions had impacted her aswell. Once the gang rallies and they find out where the missing pack is, the time for war has begun...but there is betrayal from a past hurt that comes back to haunt someone and the consequences are deadly.

This book ends on a cliffhanger. It is action packed, romance, mystery....all the good stuff. I have read all the books in the previous series that is a part of the world building. You could start this book and enter the series/world from here but its worth starting from the beginning as you get to witness the character growth and find out more about the characters.

I received this review copy for an honest and unbiased review.

“Being with you makes the hurt more bearable. You’re the rainbow after the storm.”

It's fine. I read all 16 books of Shadow City because I have a problem with not allowing myself to DNF. Once I started, there was no stopping because of Kindle Unlimited. However I do not recommend it to my friends. I will give you the basics of the story in discussion in five minutes. The ending was not satisfying at all.

Overall, there is eventually world building. The character building is minimum and so is the relationship building.

What really ruined this read for me was almost every chapter and book ending on a "danger" or "cliffhanger". It does not need to do this. Let a person put down the book in peace.

My Rating System:
5 ★ Masterfully created work of art with many strong qualities. Will re-read. Cannot imagine my life without it. Devastated it is over.
4 ★ Solid Work. Enjoyed from beginning to end.
3 ★ Decent with poor execution in some manner. Neutral.
2 ★ Wasn't good but not completely bad. Only 1 or 2 redeeming qualities
1 ★ DNF and/or no redeeming qualities

I was waiting for Killian`s story and I loved that another silver wolf was brought in, Jewel. This series of books is packed with a lot of action. Jen also introduced new characters in this book that goes with other books she has written.

This book went a lot smoother for me compared to the other books in the Shadow City series. There was still recaps and character dialog but they were short and got to the point.
