Sleeping Cinderella and Other Princess Mix-Ups by Stephanie Clarkson came to me as a first-reads from a Goodread's Giveaway and is the tale of four princesses who become disgruntled with their lives and step into the shoes of another's princess's life for a change. These princesses find that nobody's life is perfect; it is better to live your own life and make it what you want it to be. Everybody has the power to change their own life to try to make it want they want it to be. This tale is girl empowering and brings a new and refreshing take on some old favorites. Very well done indeed.

This is a fun reimagining of 4 well-known fairy tales, Cinderella-Snow White-Sleeping Beauty-Rapunzel, where the girls are discontent and switch places. Only to find that they didn't need another's story but to take charge of their own. Written in rhyme, which just adds to the fun!

A fantastic fractured fairy tale, "Sleeping Cinderella" combines many of our typical princesses with each other to get a funny story about what would happen if their stories and situations were switched.
