Thanks to Harlequin and NetGalley for the book in exchange for a honest review.

We met Sara first in Texas Born, she's Gabriel's brother; Wolf was also introduced in that book. They hate each other, I mean its instant anger on Sara's part when she sees him. Everyone says there is a thin line between love and hate, boy they aren't kidding. Sara has a bad past, she was a victim of sexual abuse and her mother blamed her for the issue, because of this she is afraid of men. She doesn't date, EVER. She's traumatized by her past.

Wolf doesn't know what it is but he loves to get Sara fired up. She doesn't disappoint, every time she fights back with such passion he can't help but think about what it would be like to be with her. When he does give into the temptation he can't decide if she's a tease or truly innocent.

Watching the two fight each other and then give into the heat they had simmering inside was like watching fireworks popping off. It was also nice to see all of the other cast of characters. We also got to see what was going on with Sara, during a crazy time in Gabriel and Michelle's story. I was glad to read this book and Texas Born back to back. Leave love for the author in a review.

OK, but not as good as the first three in the series.

I really enjoyed this book. I started reading it when i went to bed at 10 and finished it at 1 am.

Now I'm going to reread it and take it slower.

This book was definitely NOT my cup of tea. I can enjoy a romance novel once in a while but this whole story, all the characters in this book were just outrageously ridiculous. A good romance novel can be the perfect escape but there still needs to be something intelligent and real about it. Thank you Goodreads Firstreads for the opportunity to win a copy of this book, however I'm sorry to say I would not recommend this book unless this is the only type of reading one is used to reading.

The story line was a little jumbled and the majority of it did not take place in Wyoming as the title (and precious books in the series) led me to believe. Sara and Wolf’s damaged pasts make them seem like an unlikely pairing, as well as their age difference, but the friendship they develop is intriguing. The other background story lines were not well designed or woven into the story to make it totally cohesive.

They hated each other!

But hate turned to love! Diana Palmer has the uncanny ability to bring lots of action to her romances. The way she does it makes it all mesh in the perfect novel!

I kept on reading this series because the next blurb said that this book was going to be an enemies to lovers trope... so duh I am so gonna listen to this. Again we have a damaged hero and a traumatized heroine.

I did not enjoy the plot this time... He kept on trying to seduce a traumatized woman and than mocked her during sex... You ask why... because he was mocked by his former girlfriend whom he loved dearly... WTF... He assumed... he thought... and he struggled... but he never kept asking her why she got traumatized... This hero was an asshole and the plot had to thank the narrator that I kept on listening.

Sadly, it may be time for me to stop trying to read Diana Palmer books. I have been a faithful fan since the 1980s, but lately, the story is identical from book to book. At least I get them from the library - i would be pretty angry if I had paid for this. Same story. She's shy/afraid of men. He's a manly dude. She says weird, old fashioned things like "I'm a watering pot today". He is apparently one step away from Cro-Magnon man.
