This was a rideeee I loved it. In the beginning I was so confused as to what was going on, what exactly was the ship and the in around the middle of the book it all started to flow together and make sense. This was by far the most interesting book on mental illness and hallucinations I've read.

This was such a heavy read. Check the content warnings if you plan to go into this one.

I really appreciated this story. Knowing that it’s based on Neal Shusterman’s son and that people really truly go through these feelings made it a really hard hitting read. I’m glad I read it and it definitely helped to prove why Neal Shusterman is one of my favorite authors. The way the story unfolded and was told was done in such a way that made everything hit harder. I truly appreciated this work.

Shusterman did it again with this book. This is such an incredible portrayal of mental illness in a way I’ve never read before. It was exciting, engaging, and had me basically screaming at the page. I found myself with my jaw on the floor multiple times.

Definitely would recommend. Make sure to read the authors notes at the end!!
