I think this is the best story in the series so far. Really well-written, with a lot of interesting and complex subplots.

Elizabeth George is amazing. I really enjoyed this mystery. She is one of the few authors I have come across who can write a smart mystery.

Elena Weaver, at student at St. Stephen's College at Cambridge University, is found bludgeoned to death and because her father is a professor at the University, Scotland Yard Detective Inspector Thomas Lynley and his partner Detective Sergeant Barbara Havers are called in to investigate. And, as we all know, colleges can be intellectually changing institutions with extremely dark undertones. Welcome to Cambridge.
