This is an intriguing book about two friends from different backgrounds. Caitlin is rich and Sasha’s parents work at Caitlin’s parents estate. Despite the differences they become friends. Friends that do not always appreciate each other.

Sasha is the primary narrator in this book and the timelines vary from the now present, 2-3 months ago present, and childhood. Sasha is helping plan Caitlin’s wedding to their children friend, Chuck. There are a lot of secrets in this book. They are revealed throughout the book and it makes for an intriguing read!

The bridesmaid had you reading into the past and the future throughout this book which was a little bit easier to read in my opinion.
You got to meet sasha a young girl were her family live in a cottage next to caitlins family as they have hired sashas parents as a Gardner and house cleaner.
In my opinion I loved the mystery that was going on throughout the book always had me guessing on what was going on, a mean at one point I thought sasha was cheating on her partner but it turned out I was wrong on so many levels poor little me.
Now the big twist at the end, the big finally caitlins mum Ava didn't want anyone in her family to know at all was revealed which shocked everyone thanks to sasha, who wanted to reveal it before it was too late.
In all honesty I really did enjoy this book from start to finish it was really good and I cannot wait to read more of nina mannings works in the future.

DNF - I am writing this review after receiving an ARC from Boldwood Books.

I desperately wanted to like this book - the cover, the concept, all right up my alley! Unfortunately I got halfway through and had to DNF. I wasn't connected to any of the characters, I didn't really even know what the book was about, and it needed some serious editing (the plot was really hard to follow, million dollar words were used when a ten cent word would have worked, and all the character's dialogue sounded the same so it was tough to distinguish between or connect to any of the characters).

This book was really good! The beginning was super intense and kept me hooked, but the ending sort of felt like too much happening and too much build up to the ending which was a bit disappointing in my own opinion, but it was still a good read! I was just expecting more drama

Underwhelming but not bad. I went in expecting a thriller but this ends up being a simple mystery, the answers to which are obvious some 10 chapters before closure comes.

The big reveal felt a bit more hyped up than it turned out to be, but overall it was a heartfelt story of family that I genuinely enjoyed.
