I love how we get to see each character's side of the story especially since the book seems to be developing into a reverse harem type of story. I enjoy getting to see how each character changes depending on who they are interacting with.

While there is a lot I love about the book, one of my main issues with the story is how everything seems to be moving at an extremely fast pace. Not only the plot of the story but also how fast each relationship within the book is developing. That being said the book and plot is still amazing and I enjoyed reading it.

I enjoy the writing style of the book and how each character is developed throughout the book. We do get to see how each character responds to the trauma that they have been dealt with and how that changes the character and how they interact with each other.

I received an ARC for an honest review. SPOILERS. I'm not sure I liked this book. It was a fairly quick and easy read. I am having a hard time thinking that someone would have a s*xual awakening after being r*ped and tortured though. I liked her relationship with Jay at the beginning but when they finally reunited their whole relationship changed, which is fine but there was no discussion about it and then he just leaves. Also, it just seemed like too much fantasy. She needs to be dominated by one person but then turns around and makes someone else submit to her. Sage goes from being the healer type to the third person and introduces toys, again all without a discussion, after Julia's traumatic abuse? I don't have a problem with spice and the descriptions were great but the overall storyline was problematic to me. Why is everyone drawn to her? I also stumbled a few times forgetting who's POV I was reading. I would like to know more about Rosie and how she was able to find these mercenaries. I will say the representation for all orientation's was good.

I absolutely loved this book, I loved how much diversity and representation there was in this book. I also loved how Shannon showcased PTSD and how a person heals through that journey after a traumatic incident. I love the relationships the FMC makes with her partners as well. Overall spectacular book!

This book was the best thing I've read this year. So much queer rep and mental health rep.

I’m very interested in the plot and will read the next one to see what happens.

The romance is lacking for me. The characters don’t really have any connection. It’s a why choose and there’s no tension between any of them except for Jules and Cy.
