I was intrigued by Holden in the other stories and he didn’t disappoint. I didn’t expect his story to be so emotional. Sophie had a lot of sadness and she didn’t know the trouble that was following her. Then she reunites with Holden after so many years. There’s so many twists and turns and secrets revealed but these two are a great team and the emotional rollercoaster that they go on makes for a beautiful sort of second chance romance. His friends are a great help and they continue to show that they are more than just friends and they are family and always have each other so back. Great ending to this series!!

The conclusion to the mystery running through the series. There's a cross-over between Melanie Harlow's TEMPT and this book, which is kind of fun.

The perfect departure from Rose Canyon

Holden and Sophie gave us the perfect departure from Rose Canyon although I’d stay if I could. This found family of friends saw so much tragedy and heartbreak that they all deserved the HEA they fought for. Sophie being led to Holden and then becoming the family they were always meant to be was beautiful. All the suspense kept me on the edge of my seat and when the truth came out about who “he” was I was gobsmacked as Sophie would say.

There is nothing in the dark that can avoid the light forever.

The final book in the Rose Canyon series wrapped up the overall romantic suspense plot (which was a little frustrating at times) but also saw our resident doctor, Holden James, find love in Sophie - a woman he had a one night stand with in Las Vegas. I really loved Eden - she was a such a light and was a joy to read about. A good end to this series and I look forward to reading more books by Corinne Michaels.
