One of the foundational books for those interested in traditional and modern straw bale construction. After reading it I attended a 10-day straw bale workshop in Colorado during which we completed the baling, stitching, and stuccoing of a couple's lovely two-level home. It was very rewarding to see the process, updated with modern accessory materials and construction processes. If you're considering building with bales, do your homework and participate in at least one hands-on learning project first.
