In the words of Carmine Demarco - fucking great!
I enjoyed this book immensely. It was great to see Haven and Carmine's story finished. This book made me laugh and cry (and cry and cry and cry) Vincent's story was heart wrenching and such a testament to unconditional love.
JM Darhower (or Karr, as us old fandom ladies like to call her) has a wonderful way of making all of her characters so consistent, and really draws such a fantastic familial picture. You can absolutely pick apart what part of a child they got from each parent - even of you only "met" one of them on a brief flashback.
There was one point in particular where Have mentions that Carmine has witness horrific incidents involving his parents. I was thinking this just as it was happening, and I just knew Haven would pick that up and go and be there for Carmine.
I look forward to anything Miss Darhower will write next.

Wow! This book......... there are really no words to describe how this made me feel. Carmine and Haven are one of my favorite book couples ever. This book was different than I was expecting, things I didn't want to happen did happen. I had to actually take a break from reading because I got so upset about a certain event but then I couldn't stop thinking about it when I put it down. I've had dreams about this book for the last two nights - I can't get this story out of my head. I think this author is brilliant - to have a story take over someones life the way this one has mine - that I'm loosing sleep thinking about these characters and what's going to happen - I just think that really shows how talented this author is. I loved this book, I loved this series and I can't wait to read whatever this author writes next!

Amazing ending to an extraordinary series. I loved Redemption almost as much as the first book.
While Carmine is adjusting to his new life, Haven is adjusting to hers. Neither are where they expected to be, and both are making the best of it. Haven more productively than Carmine.
We get to see more of Corrado, and learn that although just as ruthless as we suspected, his loyalty to his family is unwavering.

Again, I’m speechless! We got the angst since the beginning. I don’t know what else to say.

My favorite thing about this story is how well we can see the pain in Carmine and Haven. It’s well written. Their rage, sadness, cry, and love, we can feel it all. I love their developments. The plot twist is also good.

Worth reading from the beginning till the end!
