Stirling once again manages to drop the reader straight back into her world of Savants, allowing the reader to engage straight away with characters that are now very familiar.
It was interesting to learn more about how Soulfinders work and how they can be found, and although cheesy and cliche at times, watching how the relationship between Xav and Crystal developed was enjoyable.

I know you're supposed to read book 1 then 2 and then 3, but after realising they are stand alones- I read 1 then 3.

I wasn't expecting too much. I'd read it was the least favourite of the series, plus- it's not about Sky so thats also a minus.

I absolutely loved it though. I loved this one more than the first. I really liked how we got to see how the other characters were doing. I really feel as though i'm getting to know the Benedicts well.

I really hope there is going to be a book 4.
