The second and fourth chapters were my favorites in this volume. The stories never fail to emotionally impact me and I love Natsume's gradual character growth. His relationship with Nyanko sensei is endlessly entertaining - it's hilarious, sweet, and slightly (but not really) dangerous. This is the last of the volumes that I currently own, but I'll definitely pick up the next one at some point. 5 stars.

My favorite chapters for this one have to be 12 and 10. They really hit me with the sweet, sad, and wholesome vibes

Omg, Tama is SO FUCKING ADORABLE, MUST PROTECT!

On a more serious note, this volume was super entertaining and pretty dark regarding other exorcists. Granted, this something that would definitely come up in a series like this, but it was hard to watch Natsume grapple with finally finding a group of people who have the same ability as him but their have broken moral compasses. I'm curious to see what how Natsume will handle this group in the future and what significant role they will play.

Anyway, this volume hit me hard in the feels as usual and was super entertaining to read. Loved it!

Natsume and friends continue their adventures in this third volume. The characters are growing, especially Natsume. In this one we even learn more about Mr. Natori's world.

I-I'm not crying you're crying...

Chapters 9 (black!Nyanko-sensei) and 12 (tatsumi chick) were so memorable that I remember them even now, despite it being years since I originally read this series. Absolutely heartwarming and magical.

There's good reason why "lovable" category is at 100% on here — it's such an immense joy to watch Natsume as grows. He's a dear boy.
