Finally finished this series and while I'm not as big of a fan of the end of the series as I am the beginning of it, I still really enjoyed it. It didn't feel like there were stale parts or fillers. I liked the action bits, I liked the guys, and I liked how strong Lera became.
I really like the guys here, but feel like Shade didn't get much time??? and I do wish the relationships built up a bit more and had weight. I feel like she didn't realize until the end what was going on even though titles and labels had been thrown around.

Lera and her guys have to protect their lands from Mors, and now it's harder than ever as River's father is working for the enemy. With the kingdoms barely relying on the Citadel, it's up to them to make sure that Mors forces are stopped.

I like how Lera is slowly becoming more independent and her own person. She's still relying on other people's help, but she's more autonomous and is not scared to take the lead. I'm curious to see how their story continue.
