Listening to MDWAP so I'm counting this as reading it, but honestly can't give Rocky a rating because I don't rate erotica when I read it.

Marginally better than book 1 but still hilariously terrible.

Favourite quotes from this one:
- “The flesh of mankind”
- “Before the inevitable blue ejaculation cut across her dreams”

Belinda is running around the world finalizing the details of the contracts she brought to Steele Pots and Pans in book one. Everywhere she goes, she finds men and women looking for a good time (ie--they want to have sex). Some characters from book one revisit and some new characters come into the mix.

There seems to be a lot less sex in this book, but somehow it seems more over the top than book one. This is exactly what you expect from Rocky Flintstone, detail where it doesn't matter and some of the sexy details glossed over. It does have a surprisingly good use of a cliffhanger even though the writing style is so obvious that you know what's in the cliffhanger is about and a scene in an Amsterdam brothel that actually was surprising, because there's no way anybody could have seen it coming, it was too weird.

Anyway, like most everybody else, I "read" this by listening to the "My Dad Wrote a Porno" podcast. I'm not sure I wouldn't have been able to get through some of the more cringe-worthy sex related descriptions without their MST3K-style antics making the gross funny. Buy the book, but listen to the podcast: have Rocky's son read you the erotica that his dad wrote--it seems that two awkwards cancel each other out.

This is amazing. I am binging the entire Belinda Blinked series on My Dad Wrote A Porno podcast. The books just get better and better (or worse, depending on how you look at it). If there was a price for The Book That Is So Bad That It's Good, Rocky would win all of these prices. The cliffhangers are also in here, and it makes it all the better. The podcast was also amazing. Completely hilarious.

Rocky is certainly... creative.
As with most people here, I actually only read this via the medium of the "My Dad Wrote A Porno" podcast. And as with most people here, my absolute shock and awe at the cliffhanger at the end of Chapter 14 came to a crashing and harrowing conclusion with what can only be described as the most disturbing words ever written in the history of literature. So big props to the man himself for that.
Such a fantastic podcast. Such a disturbing book. Overall, I couldn't wait to reach the end. For many, many reasons.
