Solid read, we get to spend time with the Bruisers, so there are cameos from previous books in this series + Scarlett (The Year We Hid Away), and we also meet the Bombshells (the new Women's Hockey team).
Anton is in lust with a Sylvie immediately. However, he's trying to change his post behavior, plus Sylvie has some unresolved feelings for Bryce Campeau, one of Anton's teammates.
Love me this slow burn. Anton not quite pining, but maybe displaying cinnamon roll behaviors. Willing to do anything for Sylvie, and to be near her.
Sylvie is trying to make the most of her opportunity in the league, as she tries to interpret what the random hairpins that her mom leaves her to find means
