Hmm ya know, this one wasn't *quite* as good - still very enjoyable, but I wished Vikan had fought harder for longer. Taylor too. & I really loved the whole dream thing; I think there could've been more done there to help break them down... & started sooner than "you're leaving for earth tomorrow". But regardless, still loved it.

Ohh I think this one might be my favorite from the series so far. (I won't count Devix, since he technically isnt included here).
I originally wasn't sure how I felt about Vixan (the grieving widower thing was not my favorite trope) but this proved me wrong!
Taylor and Vixan both just want to move on from his Instinct recognizing her as his fated mate. She wants to get back to Earth and he is feeling guilty about moving on from his previous love (who died during the plague). But neither of them can fight this connection they feel and realize that it's okay for them to move forward together.
I love the way they communicate about his past relationship and deal with his grief and guilt over losing her. I also love the introduction of his seer and dreamwalking abilities. That was an interesting and fun new addition to the series.
