i had such a good time with this one!! i lowkey like the whole “you’re my fated mate so i’m gonna kidnap you away” sorta vibe - IRL hell to the no, but in alien romances, hell to the yeah. i loved vikan&taylor vvvery much. i loved their special gifts - sooo cool by the way and added even more to the series. can’t wait to continue!!

Ohh I think this one might be my favorite from the series so far. (I won't count Devix, since he technically isnt included here).
I originally wasn't sure how I felt about Vixan (the grieving widower thing was not my favorite trope) but this proved me wrong!
Taylor and Vixan both just want to move on from his Instinct recognizing her as his fated mate. She wants to get back to Earth and he is feeling guilty about moving on from his previous love (who died during the plague). But neither of them can fight this connection they feel and realize that it's okay for them to move forward together.
I love the way they communicate about his past relationship and deal with his grief and guilt over losing her. I also love the introduction of his seer and dreamwalking abilities. That was an interesting and fun new addition to the series.
