Its a sweet second chance romance. I loved both characters, I understood both of them, and as much as I wanted them to be together, I admired Cat for having the courage to leave and try to built a life outside of the small town she grew up in.
Blake also moved on. He got married and divorced and has a beautiful daughter. He also has a bitchy ex (as all male characters seem to have).

I really enjoyed this installment in the series.
I am still not a big fan of the narrations he sounds just too old for the characters.
I liked that Cat wasn’t overly dramatic about her past, it was just what it was and she was moving on from it.
I liked Blake for the most part, there was one scene with a 16 yr old boy he kicked out of his house it just left a bad taste in my mouth like it was just unnecessary. Even being a single father and seeing that they were actually studying it was just too much. But say la vee, the rest of the book was enjoyable.
