These books are so comforting and so easy to read. I didn't realize this was the last one currently out in this series. I almost definitely plan on rereading this series soon. Murderbot is a fantastic narrator and I really enjoy its journey towards learning to accept that it is loved and loves others in return. This book expanded in really interesting ways on the variances in human culture in corporate systems vs places of refuge like the Preservation Alliance and ART's university. Great world building and engaging storytelling to bring ART's crew further into the fold.

God (mrs. martha wells), thank you for giviing me the murderbot diaries bc now I'm too emotional to function. I just love this series so much that it took over my brain for a good portion of the month.

As for the review portion of this, I will say that I am a tiny bit confused on System Collapse. But I think that goes for every sci-fi book I read. I just have a hard time imagining this ginormous underground structure. I wanna say I do (after reading and thinking it over), but as I was into the book it was hard for me to follow the actions.

However, I absolutely love how MB faced its mental trauma and PTSD, with it taking a small step towards its recovery. Just perfect. I was also very touched with the way MB used media to connect to the separatist, which made it feel like a very full circle moment. It was wonderful/engaging to see how MB and ART could work in a creative and informative manner to persuade and connect with humans, bloody wonderful.

Really quite good, though I didn't realize I had some expectations that weren't met until it was the end of the book and some things hadn't happened.

Immaculate sci-fi adventure, as usual!

On the surface, this series is sarcastic and fun. But it has undercurrents of addressing important social issues like colonisation, PSTD, corporate greed, and the rights of sentient beings.

Every single book in this series so far has been immensely enjoyable and I’ve come to adore Murderbot and their companions.

I implore everyone to give this series a try. You won’t be disappointed!

Murderbot continues to be great, I love the world, I love the narration style and I love ART. Murderbot also continues to be maybe concernly relatable.

I have enjoyed this whole series this far, should I have reacquainted myself with the last 6 books before reading this one? Probably. But as always I enjoyed the dry humor and perilous adventures. This is such a fun series to think further about what it means to be a human.
