I didn’t expect it to be a history book. I was bored until I knew what they were talking about. But it’s really impressive how George RR Martin created this whole world with so much detail.

This book offers an in-depth exploration of the world of ASOIAF, spanning from the Dawn Age to Robert’s Rebellion. It delves into numerous fascinating lore details that are merely hinted at in the main series. Although the majority of the book is captivating and kept me engaged, a few sections felt somewhat dry.
