Mais justamente 2,5 estrelas. Apesar de ter muito sangue, tem tb a parte mitológica e as intrigas dos deuses, que tornam uma leitura gira!!

I guess for all the people who played the game this book will not be eye opening. But never the less in my opinion this book only adds to the story and makes it more complete. I wish that I would have read this book earlier, for example while awaiting the second part of God of War.
Anyway I liked the book because it shows different perspectives, shows what were the gods doing and thinking, where as the game only shows the perspective of Kratos. What I did not like were fights in the book, to be more exact how they dragged out, but I guess that part is not avoidable.

Not a bad tie in. The background details that it brings in to the narrative are great and help further flesh out the story, and it's cool to see gameplay elements take part as well. The writing falters more in its structure, and some parts were just poorly written.

Both this novel and its sequel seem to be exact novelisations of the games. They do not provide any extra content. I'd recommend sticking wholly to the games.
