Another good perspective from Daemon, but less impressive than the first book because there was a lot more repetition from the original version since Daemon and Katy spent a lot more time together.

I loved this the same (if not more) than Onyx!

Reading Daemons side of the Lux sequel - you not only see how much Daemon truly cares and LOVES Katy, but also his true friendship with Adam. You also got to know more about Adam - which made me cry even more when the unthinkable happens (won’t say anymore for spoilers).

Katy annoyed me in this book. But she annoyed me when it was told from her point of view too. She didn’t listen. She was stubborn. And she trusted Blake over Daemon. Like what the heck. This Blake dude is around for a week and she’s thinking about dating him and being all buddy buddy with him - when she has DAEMON BLACK wanting her?!

The ending is action after action, emotion after emotion. And I can’t thank Jennifer enough for deciding to write Onyx in Daemons point of view because you truly see he did not care or want to know anything about Blake, or Boris or whatever his name was

the summary
This book review is based on the series as a whole, unless stated.
Why, why Katy and Daemon are so perfect for each other (it makes me cry when I read the series)
Although they went through a series of challenges (trust issues, the DOD and so on), they remain so faithful and loyal... and that's the magic of this book
the rating
definitely a 5/5 stars!
