I received a free copy through Netgalley, in return for an honest review.

My husband reccomended this book to me - it was his first eGalley, and he really loved it, which off course piqued my interest. To be honest, I had warned him a little too late that the 'read now'-options have proven to be not what I hoped too often for me, and I'm glad I was too late.

The world building in this book is mostly subtile, and New York was still very recognisable, which made the setting very realistic. The idea of a world governed by big corporations, which do anything just to gain and use some special kind of people, is nothing new off course. Still, it seems slightly different in this book. I cannot exactly lay my finger on it though.

I also like the way Norma learns how to rebel in small ways, instead of making huge fights. This is another reason why this book seems more realistic, despite being clearly fictional.
