It started out as a 5* read but the chapter structure and repetitive statement-making became grating. Liked the plot and MMC. The FMC started compelling but became bland by the end (commentary on how motherhood can strip someone of their individuality??)

2🌶️ <spoilers throughout> I was excited to jump into this one. I love a brothers best friend. The surprise pregnancy aspect made me hesitate but I really enjoyed it. I loved seeing the dynamic between Beckham and Lennon grow and evolve. Seeing them rekindle their young love was very sweet. I also love when the broody MMC is just so weak for the FMC we love a vulnerable man. I loved the individual growth as well as their growth together. Seeing Beckham with his bio dad was such a heart melting thing. I loved that finding him helped him be a better man. I loved seeing Lennon step up to her shitty parents too. Overall I loved this story so much and def recommend.
