Poems about the places you can see and the places you can't and what happens when one bumps up against the other.

Here's a fantastic video of Kei Miller reading some of the poems while actually in Jamaica: https://youtu.be/9imhx22TbKg (Hearing poets reading their own poems is always great but hearing a poet reading poems in the country that they are written about, to the people who would most understand them - that's something else).

Poetic short story, or long verse, tracking the island of Jamaica from the eyes of a rastafarian map-drawer. Excellent device to tell the history, colonial struggles and of course geography, as well as human geography of the place. Listened to the audiobook massively enhanced the experience as narrated by the author.
