3.5 Stars ~~ Quint couldn't deal with his father's death, so he left. He really lost it mentally. He went fishing for 30 days in Alaska. It came as no surprise when he returned to find out that his wife had taken his advice and filed for divorce. The last words he spoke to her before he left were "Divorce me." He had no business left and his mother was opening a cafe and pie shop in the same space that used to contain his business. Things really get bad when his mother has a heart attack and she asks him and his soon-to-be ex-wife to get the pie shop open on schedule. Will the old flame flicker back to life or is there too much water under the bridge to ever go back?

This is a sweet romance with charming characters and a good story line. A great weekend read, but be careful because you might be headed to the local pie shop by the time you're finished.

I received a copy for an honest review.

Great idea for a plot, but the pacing was terrible.

I loved this book! I didn't think I would be the type to read romance, but I couldn't put this book down and I can't wait to buy the second next Tuesday. I love the country feel, the loyalty from Callee to Molly, the way that fate was working the whole time, the small comedy, the slight hint of mystery, and the hot romantic scenes. They were set up just right making you ask for more. I wish this book was longer so it never ended. This book is pulse racing, passionate, and charming. I think it is even awesome that she even gave the recipe to the pie in the end.
