I love this series. This is book 3, and just as original, funny, exciting and charming as the first two. Now there's Angel in the mix, and my, what a character. She made me smile throughout the book.

I really recommend reading them in sequence, because the story picks up in one book where the previous one left off, and you would miss a lot of the background if you read as a stand alone.

I’ve been waiting for the final book in this engaging YA trilogy and it was a delight. All the characters I’ve grown to love are back again along with some new ones. There is plenty of danger as “dolps” Joel and Piper, along with their dolp daughter Angel and Piper’s boyfriend Tyler head to the Caribbean. If that combination of characters sounds a little complicated, it is. One of the threads I was eager to see play to a conclusion was the love triangle between Joel, Piper and Tyler. I’m completely satisfied how Ms. Cox wrapped things up.

The whole story is wonderful (there’s even voodoo magic and an unusual pet for Angel), but the last quarter of the book is especially gripping. Without giving anything away, let’s just say I was on the edge of my seat, eagerly flipping pages in my kindle to see how the climatic scenes played out. I loved the feel good ending! A YA read, this story, and the entire series, will appeal to young and old alike!

**I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review**

I'm really torn on how I feel about this book. This is the first book I have read in this series, which was an issue because the book starts off right in the middle of the story, and assumes you know the entire story. By the end of the book I felt that I understood most of what was going on, but I still felt a bit confused. Another thing that bothered me was how suddenly the book would change tone. Sometimes it would be funny, then randomly it would be overly dramatic.
