If this book wasn’t such a good read, I would be unspeakably angry about the ending. I am angry, and I want answers. And I can only hope Henkel writes more so I can get these answers!

It is a dizzying story that pulls you in and takes you for a ride. I couldn’t put it down.

I love this book, but the falling action and resolution feel dragged out.

This was not for me but I’ll give it 3 stars because I do get why people love it, the writing style just wasn’t for me. I also didn’t like the ending I felt like it could have been something else and that would have made it so much better. I gave One Last Stop 2.5 stars because even though I enjoyed reading it it wasn’t good and I hated so much of it, but this book gets 3 stars because it truly was interesting at some points and the things I hate I’m *supposed* to hate so yeah.

this book was only interesting when i thought the plot was going somewhere. the book became interesting 200 pages in but then went back to being boring 50 pages later. it did not feel like a thriller at all and it is VERY VERY character-driven. the ending didn't wrap up with the beginning as much as i'd hoped. the concept was cool, i think the author was on crack when she wrote it.

read this if you like:
ego-centric, untrustworthy mcs
mentally unstable women in their twenties

his book had so much potential but it wasn’t executed well, the whole third act was horrible and all the characters had horrible personalities. I especially disliked Zoe and Hailey, their friendship was so vapid and uninteresting,
but I did enjoy the plot twist involving them. During the third act, nothing happens to advance the plot and the main characters thoughts were very disturbing. < spoiler > The ending was a classic thriller trope and felt unnecessary and wasn’t explored at all, it just seemed like a last attempt to make the book different and interesting.
