One will die. One will rule. And one will sleep for eternity.

history is a cycle, indeed.

I'm still processing the fact that I finished this series and I have to admit, I still dont know if I love or hate the ending. Regardless, I can't deny its fitting and makes sense.
This book was, for me, much better than the first two in the series but the way some things developed or ended I didn't love.
Writing was exquisite as always, story was good, Rin's development was great. I just wished some things ended differently and that we got to see unfinished ones come to a conclusion.

Oh My God. This started off decently paced, slowed down a LOT and then long-distance sprinted at the end.
I got so invested in the character and goddamn Kuang knows how to end a series.

4/5 just bc the pacing was killing me in this one.

By the end of Dragon Republic I couldn't stand Rin anymore. She kept doing stupid things. She follows people she shouldn't just because they praise her but she doesn't listen to people who tell her straight.

I spent a week trying to make myself start reading Burning God because I wanted to know how the series ended. I finally gave up and just read the last chapter and epilogue. From that it looks like Rin is just the same.
