I’ve enjoyed numerous books by L Eveland, but I think this one is my favorite. I enjoyed the dynamic between Ezra and Mateo; the way Mateo just seems to calm Ezra’s anxiety like no one else can, the way Mateo didn’t care about Ezra’s OCD or anxiety or any of his personality tics, and the way they are just there for each other. I also enjoyed the spice, the combination of fluff and spice kept me entertained and enjoying every moment.

This is the second book in the series and I loved it! I loved the characters and the story kept my attention from start to finish. Can't wait to see what comes next.

Honestly with the cam stuff coming into play I was hoping this would get even kinker and personally I don’t think Ezra did anything wrong with how he reacted. I think the trait of being a “jealous” person, although not the most attractive is incredibly villainized in TV and books. Insecurities is normal and being uncomfortable or jealous when a partner does things is okay. And although it’s often fixed with a conversation, I don’t think Ezra should feel bad about how he reacted to finding out Matteo did can stuff.

I also think Matteo definitely owed it to Ezra to tell him sooner. They jumped straight into bed and he didn’t feel any time was good to tell him? Not my fav but we live and learn boys.

2/5 on spice. 3/5 on kink. 1/5 on tears.
