Learned some new things. I am realizing most of the books try to paint the person as positive as possible, and I'm sure Reagan wasn't perfect. I was impressed with how many people he saved as a lifeguard as a teenager.

Another one of my favorite Who Is books. Despite the fact that I'm a liberal who stands against everything Reagan stood for, I still admire his life story, from his rough childhood to becoming a movie star to president. This book, unlike so many others in the series, made you feel a connection to what you were reading. I also respected the fact that they didn't tiptoe around the fact that Reagan's dad was a drunk. It takes a lot of nerve to do that in a children's series like that, and so I applaud them. *imaginary hat is tipped* And though his presidency was pretty much a load of crap, at least we got another assassination attempt story to talk about out of it. If anything, read this cuz the dude made a movie with a chimp! How many of our presidents can say that?!?!
