This was a quick read for me. It was a lot like the first one. I thought it was predictable. I did have fun reading it.

This book was so good! I really struggled to get through the first book in this series because it was very slow. I expected the second book to not be as twisty & turny because I know Freida wrote it just to satisfy fans requests. However, this second book i consumed so quickly because the twist & turns just kept me so invested. Im really excited to read the last to see where Millie & Enzo's story goes!

This was an exciting read. There is no down time at the beginning and it jumps right into the plotline and introducing new characters. This book is a continuation of the previous book with about 3-4 years of time gap. There are some plot holes in that time span but it's nothing that stops the flow of the book. The new characters are well fleshed out and the plotline makes complete sense, I think this is a great follow-up to the original story. I didn't give this book 5 stars because there are some logical jumps, many of the character's actions are frustrating, and the ending is pretty predictable once you make it to the halfway mark. However, I was completely hooked and would recommend this book.

I read and really enjoyed The Housemaid, and I have to say that this one was equally as good.

I saw someone refer to it as a "popcorn thriller," and that does sum it up quite well. It's entertaining, keeps you guessing enough to keep you hooked, and I know I'm gonna read the next in the series as well.

Millie is back. Some time has passed since the first book, and she is again cleaning houses for wealthy people. This time, it is in a luxurious penthouse apartment for a multi-millionaire who is quite stern in his manner and precision of his instructions. His wife remains in her bedroom throughout, apparently due to illness, or is there  more to it? Dot, dot, dot.
