Spencers background adds some interest into this book of the series besides the dark romance. Aside from that it’s probably one of the most triggering and more violent.
For me with how sylvies character was trashed at the end of the first book of the series I couldn’t jump back on board as a fan and so I struggled my way through this

entertaining and steamy romance, but i wasn’t a massive fan of the main plot line as the writing didn’t feel like it matched the severity of the topics discussed. liked the pop ups from other characters, but do wish we saw a bit more about all of them growing up together
Graphic: Violence and Child abuse
