4.5 Fast paced. Interesting, imperfect characters. Constant "surprises." Dry humor. I really enjoyed this second Garrison Gage mystery -which I listened to - read by Steven Roy Grimsley, who was terrific. Looking forward to number three.

Realize it's the characters but the couple of racial slurs in here took me aback

I enjoy these Garrison Gage mysteries. They aren't particularly complex, but they are fun to read. For all of his flaws, and he has many, you can't help liking Garrison Gage.
