one of my grandpa's books from the late 70s- very interesting to see how many of the same problems (pesticide use, labor abuses, monocropping, fossil fuel energy, etc.) that were hot talking points then are still massive problems today. i skipped the chapters at the end that were about solar energy because i'm pretty sure the information is super outdated, as a lot if it was, but it was a cool read as a period piece and for the info that still holds up after all this time.
