Unfortunately, this is my least favorite of The Thursday Murder Club books. I finished it about a week ago and it was forgettable. The dialogue felt off and the storyline was not intriguing.

Book 113 of 2024: The Bullet That Missed - Richard Osman

Review:
⭐️ 5/5

There is something so wholesome and warm about The Thursday Murder Club. It makes me think of sitting and having a cuppa with my grandparents, that lovely cosy feeling. I enjoyed the mystery of the case and I hadn’t put the pieces together until the big reveal which is always a positive. It’s really nice to see returning characters, and some new ones, with Donna, Chris and Bogdan all playing their own roles in the story. I can’t wait to read the next instalment and see where it takes them all.

Loved this one. I was worried because I feel like everything about the second book had immediately left my brain after finishing, but it all came rushing back. I liked the mixture of old and new mystery, as well as the introduction of some new characters and some returning favorites. I'm intrigued at what seems like the birth of a super villain and look forward to the next installment. A little darker than cozy, but close.
