(Glücklicherweise?) nicht  relatable für mich & wenig neue Gedanken (oder auch Gedanken, denen ich nicht ganz zustimme). Zudem sehr heteronormativ, weswegen das Beschriebene noch entfernter und fremder auf mich wirkte. Trotzdem wichtige Themen und ich weiß, dass es mit vielen resonaten wird. Vor allem mit jüngeren Mädchen bzw. Teenagern, das schreibt sie ja auch am Ende. Ich bin wohl einfach nicht die “Zielgruppe“ und das ist valid

Es fehlt der rote Faden und ist mehr Autobiographie als alles andere (obwohl betont wird, dass es dies "um Himmels Willen" nicht sei). Subjektive Meinungen werde  als objektive Fakten präsentiert. Einfach Quatsch teilweise. Bis zum Schluss ist nicht ganz klar, was die Autorin uns eigentlich sagen wollte.. ein Ziel fehlt genauso wie die Struktur. Die erzählten Ereignisse aus dem Leben der Autorin entsprechen nur wenig der tatsächlichen Realität junger weiblich gelesener Menschen.
