| Favorite Quote | Vanity and pride are different things, though the words are often used synonymously. A person may be proud without being vain. Pride relates more to our opinion of ourselves, vanity to what we would have others think of us.

| My Review | What a way to start my 2025 reading journey! Jane Austin’s characters are timeless, and the interactions between Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy solidifies this book as my favorite romance classic of all time!

Takes time to work through because the language is structure so differently, but Pride and Prejudice is a classic for a reason. Funny, heartwarming, and overall a good time.

This was a good book! Very fun and entertaining. I was afraid it was going to be slow going, but I actually enjoyed this book and it wasn't hard to understand. I like how the chapters are short. By the time I got to page 200, I had to keep reading until I was done. I also love how the book has a happy ending; although, I'm not sure it's very believable.
