I honestly don't really know what to rate this story...
It was incredible and a little confusing, it hit very hard for me maybe because of my own mental illness but yeah.
Definitley a great Joker story.

This was pretty good, I had read on some reviews that this is the better than [b:Batman, Vol. 7: Endgame|25135501|Batman, Vol. 7 Endgame|Scott Snyder|https://d2arxad8u2l0g7.cloudfront.net/books/1439426147s/25135501.jpg|44833032]. This version does have more backstories mixed in, all pertaining to the Joker. I don't think it's necessarily better, but I would recommend reading both. I did skip all the parts in this one that were in the Batman version, because they are exactly the same.

This story was intense, and it went to some weird places (as it should being a Joker story). I didn't love the little interruptions with stories of things going on elsewhere in Gotham, but they served the purpose of rounding out the story. I didn't know what to expect going in, and I couldn't guess what was happening throughout. It's a truly gripping story with excellent artwork that both looks great and adds something special to the narrative.

These Joker comics consistently impress me with their perfectly arcing stories, beautiful artwork and interesting characters. Where I find a lot of other comics these days very corny, these have been a wonderful experience. Whenever I finish one I'm thinking "I'd love to see this on the big screen" or "I'd love to share this with someone".
I would recommend these to anyone with an interest in comics and superheroes, because this is a superhero story, but told from the perspective of a villain. And that's just not done enough.

Possibly the best Joker story I've read in a while (but obviously not the best Joker story I've read).
