Loved that it had such a good plot and the emotions could really be felt through the characters! Was a tad bit predictable but also had me surprised.

A mix of a rom com, murder mystery, and kidnapping mystery. 

Sloan is a detective brought in to help solve a crime of a serial killers. Lincoln is a lobster fisher who keeps finding the dead bodies. They are enemies but come together to find the killer in different ways.

Did I guess the plot twists? Yes but I don’t care I still loved this book. I refused to put it down. The romance and mystery aspects were so well balanced. I never forgot that there was a murder being solved whilst the main characters’ relationship developed (their chemistry was amazing by the way) - so the pacing of the story was perfect. Be Still My Heart is co-written by Sav R Miller and Emily McIntyre. I haven’t read any of the former’s other books but I have read Hooked by McIntyre and in my opinion BSMH is the far superior book. Highly recommend!
